The most joy Wests Tigers fans had today was when 2005 premiership winner Robbie Farah farewelled the club with a lap of honour at half-time at Leichhardt Oval. See the video and photos below.

There were some incredible scenes, including the Tigers veteran enjoying a quite beer on his own on the famous Leichhardt Oval scoreboard after the game on the Wayne Pearce Hill. See the photos below.

Farah played 247 matches for the Tigers since his debut in 2003.

He paid tribute to Tigers' fans for their support during his career.

"No matter what happens in the future, this club will always be special to me," Farah said.

"It's been a part of my life for so long. I have so many fond memories and have made lifelong friends here."

Canberra led 30-4 at halftime after completely dominating the first half, with Josh Papalii scoring two tries and Joey Leilua throwing the pass of the year - a 'swivel-flick' while running backwards - for a Jordan Rapana four-pointer.

A win for the Tigers at their spiritual home would have propelled them into eighth spot over Gold Coast but they were outclassed across the park on a warm day perfect for football.
