Early mail is that Robbie Farah won't make an appearance this weekend, with the Souths hooker still struggling with a back injury.

According to dailytelegraph.com.au, Farah picked up the injury at the end of the first half in last week's clash with the Cowboys.

He hasn't trained this week, and is looking a slim chance to take the field.

The 7th Tackle has reported that Farah has battled back issues in the later stages of his career, and apparently a flight delay the club faced in the wake of Queensland's awful weather last week.

Meanwhile, the Panthers will be without Tyrone Peachey, Matt Moylan, Peta Hiku and Waqa Blake.

Peachey broke his ribs - which may put him out of Origin contention - and the other three have been given the week off by coach Anthony Griffin for disciplinary reasons.
