Ryan Girdler is a successful restauranteur, with his very successful Girdlers Cafe now open across three locations: Dee Why, Manly and Warringah.

In addition to his foodie ventures, he has forged a career in the media with Triple M and Channel Nine's The Footy Show.

And of course on the field (during his career) he wasn't a bad player either, playing over 200 NRL games during his time with the Illawarra Steelers and Penrith Panthers, represented both NSW and Australia and played a starring role in the Panthers 2003 Premiership victory.

Although according to Gorden Tallis, Ryan wasn't the brightest of players when he told this classic yarn during their time playing for the Kangaroos on tour in England.
