Salary Cap Saga Continues As Figure Still Disputed

According to Triple M and the Australian's Brent Read, the salary cap saga is set to continue after the players' union turned down the offer passed by the NRL clubs yesterday.
Yesterday the NRL clubs signed off on a base cap of $9.2 million, with a $200,000 discretionary fund for veteran and development players.
Based on Ready's tweet, it seems as though we're still a long way from seeing the issue being resolved.
