South Sydney Rabbitohs star Sam Burgess is facing some time on the sidelines after a shoulder charge against the Bulldogs on Good Friday.

Burgess is facing a two-game ban for a shoulder charge on Greg Eastwood in the 24-9 loss.

It would mean missing clashes with the Sea Eagles and the Tigers.

"Yeah...I'll have to wait and see," he said after the game.

His brother George Burgess has been cleared after an apparent elbow on Aiden Tolman.

Tolman said he didn't think George Burgess's elbow connected.

"I don't know," he said.

"To be honest, I didn't feel anything from it.

"He's a big man. If he did connect, I probably would have been lying on the ground."
