Sam Thaiday will retire at the conclusion of the 2018 season as a one-club 300 game player potentially leaving the game with another Premiership ring.

The Queensland legend has achieved everything possible in the game at both club, state and international level. 

A big and funny personality, Thaiday will more than likely move into the media industry in 2019 going down the same route like many former NRL stars. 

Or so we thought .... 

According to Sam's wife, Rachel, after some of the antics the 2006 Premiership winner has delivered over his 15-year NRL career he could be moving into a very different industry in 2019.
