Sharks coach Shane Flanagan may fight NRL-imposed fine after his outburst regarding the referees in the game which ended the club's title defence on Sunday.
He was hit with a $30,000 fine after criticising the refs' performance and describing it as "disgraceful", while Manly coach Trent Barrett was fined $20,000.
According to Nine News, Manly are also considering an appeal of the fine.
"I won't cop it on the chin," Flanagan told Nine News.
"We'll stand up and go through whatever processes we need to go through.
"Does that damage grassroots? Is that disrespecting referees? Not in my view."
