The elation of getting another one past the Broncos may not last too long for the Cowboys, following news that some hefty injuries have come as a consequence of the gritty win.
Antonio Winterstein lasted only 13 minutes before leaving the field nursing his right arm. It's suspected to be a broken forearm.
Unfortunately for Winterstein, this was his first game back for the club after an ankle injury, but it looks like he may be destined for a bit of recovery time on the sideline.
Fullback Lachlan Coote also pulled up with a leg problem, wihich is reportedly a torn calf.
Matt Scott is said to also have an ACL injury.
