Penrith legend and Triple M Grill Team's Mark Geyer is sad to see yet another local junior depart his beloved Panthers, with the impending Matt Moylan/James Maloney swap deal.

Moylan joins Penrith local juniors Wade Graham and Luke Lewis to up and leave the foot of the mountains for the shire, which is hard to believe for MG.

"Very sad to see a local junior go as always, it's very hard to believe," MG said.

"We have heard all year there's been disconnect between Hook (Anthony Griffin) and Moylan and well it's obvious that it happened.

"It happens in rugby league, it happens in life, sometimes you don't see eye-to-eye with your boss and you've got to go."

Meanwhile, Triple M Grill Team's Matty Johns believes the Sharks are getting a terrific yet versatile playmaker.

"The Sharks get a player with plenty of tomorrows," Matty said.

"Matty Moylan, he can play in the halves, he can play full back ... terrific player.

"On the surface of things, because they're getting a player with as lot more tomorrows, maybe the Sharks get a a better deal."
