Adam Reynolds will sit out the next four weeks after picking up a knee injury during Saturday's round 1 clash against the Warriors.

The Rabbitoh's No. 7's injury, while minor, required surgery to clean it out following the team's 32-20 loss to New Zealand.

Teammate Dane Gagai said Reynolds didn't let on how much pain he was in on Saturday, though.

"I didn't realise it was as serious as it was," Gagai explained. "He toughed it out.

"He pushed through the game and thought he did a great job.

"It's disappointing but we have to push forward. Whoever plays that role will do a good job."

With Robbie Farah stepping in as halfback while Reynolds was injured during the trials and Adam Doueihi also trialling there, George Burgess said they had "a few options there".

"Robbie or Adam," he said. "Either one of those guys will do the job."

The Bunnies will next face Penrith this coming Saturday March 17, at Penrith Stadium.
