There are fresh rumours that James Maloney will move on from the Sharks, according to Triple M's Paul Kent.

Maloney has already moved around a bit in his career, with stints at the Eels, Storm, Warriors, Roosters and Sharks

"James Maloney is an unusual player," Kenty said. Listen to the full report below.

"The one thing he's done at every club is he's improved them.

"He's made them competitive, and he's done that to NSW as well.

"He certainly has success wherever he goes, and I think it would be an astute signing for South Sydney to get a player like him.

"Adam Reynolds is a very good young halfback and is on the way up still as a player and I think working with someone like Maloney at five-eighth would be really, really strong."
