There are plenty of benefits to playing League but a truckload of free Macca's has got to be one of the top perks.

While chatting about the Broncos on Thursday night's episode of The Late Show with Matty Johns, the Triple M presenter brought up how Jack Bird could go in the halves position.

"Warriors... will look at Jack Bird and say, 'He's carrying a bit of condition'," Matty said. "Mate, that's fact. He is.

"They'll probably make him make upwards of 30, 40 tackles this week."

Which is when Paul Kent started joking about "the little McDonald's card" that each Brisbane player carries - although someone is using it a little more than the others.

"Apparently there's a sponsorship there with the Broncos and McDonald's and the players have got a card that they're allowed $20 of free food a day," Kenty laughed.

"And my understanding is that Jack's been partaking."
