Triple M's Peter Sterling believes the experience the Eels have gained will greatly benefit them after their disappointing exit from this years finals series.
"The experience of what they've gone through, that's a great learning experience," Sterlo said.
"That North Queensland Cowboys game, you don't ever want to feel that again, so you don't put yourself in a position to feel that disappointment."
Sterlo also believes, given a full pre-season to work together, the Eels halves combination have what it takes to take the Eels deep into the finals next season.
"They were thrown together half-way through the season, give them a full off-season together and I think Mitchell Moses and Corey Norman will be great next year," he said.
