"He’s a wonderful talent and a fantastic signing.

"He’s still only 21 and has already made a real mark in the NRL and also for the Kiwis. To be able to bring a New Zealander back to our club from Australia is massive for us."
Those were the words of then New Zealand Warriors coach Andrew McFadden in 2015 when the club had just announced the signing of 21-year-old sensation, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

Set to become the poster boy for New Zealand Rugby League, the expectations were through the roof, especially with already one-premiership to his name, RTS was expected to bring glory to the Warriors.

Fast-Forward two years and it's fair to say those expectations are far from being met.

And now, if reports are true Roger Tuivasa-Sheck wants out of his NRL contract with the Warriors.

Tuivasa-Sheck's contract is set to expire at the end of the 2018 season and it may be harsh (due to injury problems) but his $2.4 million experiment at the Warriors is a fail.

Despite a star-studded roster over the past few years, saying the Warriors have fallen well short of expectation is a huge understatement.

For 'RTS', the man who was supposed to be the heir apparent to Anthony Minichello at the Roosters, it's time to move on.

But to where?

Well here are five potential suitors for RTS.

1. South Sydney Rabbitohs

The big question is where would RTS play with Greg Inglis still at the club.

Well regardless of the position, Tuivasa-Sheck signing for the Rabbitohs could be the move resurrect his career.

Playing with the likes of Greg Inglis, Sam Burgess and Dane Gagai could propel RTS back to the blistering form he produced for the Roosters.

2. Wests Tigers

Like the Rabbitohs, the Tigers have shown interest in bringing RTS back to Australia.

This could be a more logical choice given the Tigers lack a 'specialist' fullback.

Tui Lolohea will don the Number 1 jersey for 2018, but if available, the Tigers would jump at the chance to sign RTS.

Tuivasa-Sheck, still only 24-years-old could help lead a Tigers side desperate for a bit of back-line flair well into the future.

3. St. George Illawarra Dragons

Salary cap pressure could prevent this move from ever eventuating but the Dragons are also desperate for a specialist fullback.

Matt Dufty looks to have won the race for the Number 1 jersey in 2018 but the addition of RTS could propel the Dragons back into Premiership contention.

Especially with an exciting spine like this; 1.RTS, 6. Widdop, 7. Hunt, 9. McInnes.

4. Melbourne Storm

Maybe a left field choice, however, with Billy Slater hinting at retirement at the end of the 2018 season and a fullback with the calibre of RTS on the open market ... anything is possible.

Tuivasa-Sheck would thrive in a system like Melbourne, under SuperCoach Craig Bellamy it could be the perfect match.

Out of the Sydney and New Zealand spotlight and being able to knuckle down in AFL-mad Melbourne, could be exactly what the 24-year-old needs at this stage of his career.

5. Auckland Blues/All Blacks

Strong indications during the week suggest RTS was on his way to Rugby Union, via the Auckland Blues.

Having already represented the New Zealand schoolboys, RTS is extremely well-versed in the 15-man game.

The lure of an All Blacks jersey just may outweigh any NRL offer that is/will be thrown Tuivasa-Sheck's way, especially with the Rugby Union World Cup just over 18 months away.
