The Scary Roosters Stat The Cowboys Face This Saturday Night

The Roosters have a 75% win record at Allianz Stadium in finals games, having won 15 of the last 20 finals they've played at the ground.  

The Bondi-based side have also won 14 of the last 15 games they've played at Allianz including the last nine straight. 

This compounded with the Cowboys abysmal Allianz Stadium finals record, of which since the club's inception in 1995 they have only won twice in seven attempts, stacks all the cards against the North Queensland boys. 

However, the Cowboys have a mountain of momentum on their side and are hopeful they can continue their fairytale run all the way to the Grand Final, something which linchpin Michael Morgan is excited for.

“It’s not going to be easy. We’re under no illusions that it’s going to be a big fairytale and it will just happen for us. As nice as that would be, we know it’s going to be tough," Morgan told reporters as the Cowboys flew back into Townsville on Sunday. 

“It will be hard but we’re excited for the occasion.”

No stranger to playing the underdog after upset finals victories over the Sharks and Eels in recent weeks, the Cowboys will once again have to overcome all the odds against a red-hot Roosters side, for the unlikeliest of Grand Final berths.
