In 2015, Damien Cook was cut from the Canterbury Bulldogs not knowing if that was the end of his NRL career.

Fast-forward just a few short years and now Damien Cook is readying himself to play in the biggest rugby league arena.

His form in 2018 has been unbelievable, playing a starring role in the Bunnies fantastic start to the season.

His form has even forced 2005 Premiership winner Robbie Farah to play NSW Cup for most of the current season.

Rabbitohs coach Anthony Seibold spoke highly of Cook when he joined Triple M Saturday NRL and detailed the secret training sessions Cook undertook during pre-season which has seen the former Bulldogs take is game to another level.
