With no less than 20 'marquee' players moving clubs over the off-season the nominations for best and worst buys could feature come of the biggest names in rugby league. 

Cooper Cronk moved from Melbourne to the Roosters, the serial pest Jimmy Maloney moved to his fifth club, the Dragons made Ben Hunt one of the most paid players in the NRL while Jack Bird, Mitchell Pearce, Kalyn Ponga and Blake Green all moved on. 

With that being said, the Triple M Sunday Footy crew decided to hand out the NRL service awards for the best and worst buys of the year as we head towards becoming a third of the way through the season.
