In the wake of Mitchell Moses requesting a release to link up with Parramatta, it's been reported that the Tigers are set to chase two internationals to fill his shoes in the halves.

Gareth Widdop is off contract at the Dragons, with Shaun Johnson another big-name on the radar.

According to smh.com.au, Johnson would likely command near the million-dollar mark, meaning landing him at Leichhardt would hinge more on the movements of the other off-contract Tigers - particularly James Tedesco and Aaron Woods.

"We're in a situation where we aren't waiting," Tigers Football manager Kelly Egan said.

"We have to get out and discuss options and make sure we're planning for contingencies.

"We've started that already but we're going to be a lot more aggressive with it now.

"The offers are there and we're very positive about how those offers look and what they reflect. But we've got to keep moving as a club too."
