Parramatta CEO Bernie Gurr has told Triple M that the club are working through a "few other issues" before they re-sign Jarryd Hayne.
Gurr said that Hayne, who has been venting his frustrations at not having signed a contract yet on Twitter, has had conversations with both himself and coach Brad Arthur in the last week.
But the club boss spoke frankly about the situation on Tuesday night's The Rush Hour with MG, admitting that Hayne knows where they're at.
Gurr also spoke about the topic on everyone's lips: Parramatta's refusal to accept a bid that would see them play their 2019 home games at the new Western Sydney Stadium.
Citing Eels' fans game day experiences, the club boss explained exactly why he finds the deal so unfair.
