Triple M and Fox Sport's Gorden Tallis has responded to Wayne'e Bennett's claim that Darius Boyd will not move to the five-eighth position.
Bennett was asked during Friday's pre-match press conference if he would move Boyd into the halves to solve their slow start to the season after media pundits, including Tallis called for the move.
The seven-time premiership winning coach responded by saying those comments were made by the "ill informed."
However, Gordie has hit back at his former mentor on Brisbane's Dead Set Legends, claiming there's plenty of similarities between Boyd and Darren Lockyer's transition from fullback to five-eighth.
