This year was supposed to mark Johnathan Thurston's rep circuit finale, however injury concerns mean that there's a possibility that JT may not get to run around again on the big stage.
@channeltennews has reported that JT may miss the entire Origin series following a suspected grade two shoulder tear sustained during last night's ANZAC test.
The incident that caused the injury seemed rather innocuous as you can see in the video below, and JT will be going for further tests on Monday to learn his fate for the season.
In terms of his Origin replacement for the Maroons, Michael Morgan has been tipped as favourite.
It's all but confirmed that JT will miss Origin I at the very least, which will break his 36 game streak at the Origin level.
