The Tigers have been quite busy with their recruitment since Ivan Cleary took the reigns, and Triple M NRL's Supergrass has some massive news about a potential signing.

"Israel Folau is wanting to come back to the NRL," Supergrass told Triple M Sunday NRL. Listen to the full report below.

"Izzy is not happy with how his rugby has unfolded over the last 18 months.

"I’m hearing the Wests Tigers are starting to compile an offer, and Ivan Cleary is going to make plans for his NRL return."

Folau is 28 years old and played with the Storm (2007 - 2008) and the Broncos (2009 - 2010) before a stint in the AFL.

He then moved on to union.

"We could have him back in the game - he’d be a good replacement for Tedesco," Triple M's Ryan Girdler said.

"They could afford him too," Triple M's Gorden Tallis said.
