Gold Coast Titans

Triple M and Fox Sport's Paul Kent has revealed the incoming Gold Coast Titans coach will be the lowest paid coach in the NRL on a salary of $350,000.

"They're offering about $350,000 which will make whoever does take the job the lowest paid coach in the NRL," Kenty said.

"That's all they can afford to spend."

This could potentially rule favourites Kevin Walters and Laurie Daley out of the running for the vacant job who would both have to take a significant pay cut to take up their first Head Coach role in the NRL.

Although, This could open the door for an inexperienced coach like Garth Brennan or former Manly coach Geoff Toovey who's itching to get back into the NRL.

However, Triple M's Ryan Girdler believes the Titans need to splash the cash for and experienced coach that will can appease all aspects of the football club.

"They need to get it right. You're better off spending $450,000 (or more) and getting someone that can bring more people into your club, has more experience and can also bring more fans through the gate," Girds said.
