Following the completion of the Rugby League World Cup, the latest world rankings for both the men and women have been released.
Both the Kangaroos and Jillaroos occupy the number one position after becoming World Champions.
In the men's rankings, despite New Zealand losing to Tier 2 nations Tonga and Fiji and getting knocked out at the Quarter-Final stage of the competition, they remain in second position with World Cup finalists England in third position.
After their World Cup heroics Tonga move up 7 spots from 11th to fourth, while Fiji move up two spots in fifth.
However, the big movers were Lebanon who were ranked 18th before the tournament and subsequently after making the Quarter-Finals move inside the Top 10.
