The Warriors are reportedly looking desperately to find a replacement for Tuimoala Lolohea in order to grant the playmaker a release.
Lolohea has been linked with several clubs as the player movement circus continues, and apparently has three offers on the table.
However, after a meeting with the Warriors on Monday, it became apparent that the club will not release him unless they have his replacement locked in.
If something doesn't happen before the transfer deadline on June 30, Lolohea will have to wait out the season with the Warriors.
Lolohea has spent most of this season out of the first grade squad after being dropped to the reserves.
Te Maire Martin has been linked with the club.
