Speaking on Triple M Saturday NRL, Triple M's Peter Sterling has revealed that Tyson Frizell is the primary injury concern arising out of this round so far, with the additional rib injury Frizell picked up on Friday night hurting his chances of being fit for Origin III.
As one of Laurie Daley's advisors, Peter Sterling said that he'd been in touch with Frizell since the incident.
“It’s a different one. It’s still a rib cartilage but it’s around the back. I think I can remember the tackle actually where I saw him wince with pain," Sterlo said.
“Obviously the Dragons need their best men on the field as much as possible. And he was fine going into that game for the Dragons until that new injury.
“We’re just sitting back and waiting to see what these scans reveal.
“Had a chat with Tyson himself and he texted Laurie last night to say that he thought he’d be fine. Straight away. And that is a player.
“There’s a little bit of time but with those kind of things they don’t go away."
