New Zealand born Mixed Martial Artist Mark Hunt has revealed he's been offered to fight Cronulla Sharks captain Paul Gallen once his contract with the UFC expires.

Hunt who is preparing for his UFC 221 showdown with American Curtis Blaydes, would like to continue fighting once his stint with the UFC comes to an end.

"Maybe I will chase a boxing title after that. Conor (McGregor) fought the best boxer (Floyd Mayweather) in the world so who knows?" Hunt said.

"I've been offered Lucas Browne and Paul Gallen. Who is looking after these guys? Come on guys.

"I know Gal. We have lunch sometimes. You can’t really fight friends or family but it depends if the money is right."

Gallen has an unblemished professional boxing record of 8-0 and in recent years has been lobbying for a fight with code hopper Sonny Bill Williams.

While Gallen said after his last fight against Fijian Puna Rasaubale that he wouldn't fight again unless it is agains SBW, a mega-fight against Hunt could just entice Gallen to fight one more time.
