The Warriors have confirmed club legend Manu Vatuvei will leave the club and the NRL.

The powerhouse winger nicknamed ”The Beast" will move over to the UK Super League, signing a deal Salford.

“This wasn’t an easy decision to make,” Vatuvei said on www.warriors.kiwi.

“I’ve absolutely loved my time here at the Vodafone Warriors playing alongside my brothers.

“I will never forget this club and just want to say a massive thank you to the club and the fans for their support over the years.”

Vatuvei, 31, was a fan favourite but in recent years has struggled with a knee injury.

In fact, he only managed one NRL game this year due to injuries.

Since making his NRL debut in 2004, Manu Vatuvei has played 226 games for the Warriors. He played 28 tests for New Zealand. Watch the video highlights below.
