"We'll Need All Of Billy Slater's Greatness"

Kevin Walters has remained coy about his plans for Billy Slater and Darius Boyd, with the only information he was willing to part with a cheeky quip - "I don't think he (Slater) will be in the forwards".

The return of Billy Slater to the side stands to see a big shift in QLD from their performance in Origin I

"We've just picked 17 players that we feel are the best 17 for Queensland," Walters said.

"I don't think he was as happy as I was.

"It was a tough decision to omit Billy, but since that omission his club form has just gone to the next level.

"We're very excited about the inclusion of Billy in the side.

"We know what he brings to QLD, and we'll need all of that on Wednesday week - all of the greatness that Billy Slater brings."
