Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor has extended an olive branch to Robbie Farah, wishing him well in his first NRL outing for South Sydney.

All eyes will be on Farah when he comes face-to-face with his former club in the Rabbitohs' NRL season opener at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

Taylor, who forced Farah out of Concord, wants to make it clear he harbours no bad blood, wishing him well and predicting he'll bloom following his change of scenery.

"I thought he played really strong in the Charity Shield, it looks like a change has been good for Robbie and I'm sure he'll play well, I'm sure he'll have a good season," Taylor said.

"Good luck."

The pair had a bitter falling out, which led to club life member and premiership winner Farah being dumped to reserve grade.

Farah was given a lifeline by Souths and said in February he'd moved on from his feud with Taylor.

However, he made it clear there was lingering resentment by refusing to answer questions about his former coach.

The Tigers decided to put its stocks in young halves Mitch Moses and Luke Brooks and NSW fullback James Tedesco, and Taylor said it was time for the side to step up.

He wasn't expecting Friday's blockbuster to have any extra feeling, saying the lure of two points was enough for his players.

"I don't think anyone gets any more fired up for any game, particularly round one," Taylor said.

"Everyone's had a big pre-season so every player out on that field will be giving everything they've got.

"You can't go to another just because of who you're playing."

Winger Moses Suli, who was signed to a three-year deal reported to be worth $1.2 million despite having never played a first-grade game, is expected to make his debut against the Rabbitohs.

He's in line to take the spot in the Tigers backline vacated by Tim Simona's suspension, but Taylor was keeping his cards close to his chest, refusing to reveal his 17.
