Wests Tigers' signing spree has continued, with the NRL club confirming a deal with St George Illawarra centre Taane Milne for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

The 22-year-old will likely join the Tigers as a replacement for Tim Simona, who was deregistered by the NRL earlier this year for gambling on matches he was playing in.

Milne has played 14 games for the Dragons since the start of last year, and was particularly dangerous at the back-end of last season.

He is one of three backs announced by the club in the coming weeks.

Former NRL wingers Corey Thompson and Mahe Fonua were unveiled as part of the Tigers 2018 squad on Thursday, as coach Ivan Cleary begins to piece together his roster for his first full season at the club in 2018.

"Taane is a talented player who will add strike power to Wests Tigers," Cleary said.

"He will be a valued member of the team as we continue to grow into the future."

The Tigers have already snared Canterbury five-eighth Josh Reynolds, Dragons forward Russell Packer, Warriors prop Ben Matulino and Gold Coast second-rower Chris McQueen for 2018, along with the mid-season purchase of Tuimoala Lolohea from the Warriors.
