With hopes of a finals appearance out of reach for the Rabbitohs, it would seem as though the side has little to play for except for pride.

However, speaking on Triple M Saturday NRL, Triple M and Fox Sports' James Hooper has said that this game could define new structures going forward within the Rabbitohs ranks.

"This is a big game for Robbie Farah," Hoops said.

"I'll be interested to see whether he actually gets a start. He's been named on the bench.

"I think this is a big game not only in terms of today, but in terms of rolling forward because Damien Cooks gets an opportunity in the starting side."
