Yvonne Sampson Talks About Her Interview With Matt Lodge

It was Matt Lodge's first interview since joining the NRL with the Brisbane Broncos, when he sat down with Fox League's Yvonne Sampson to discuss the drama surrounding his return. 

Yvonne joined Saturday Triple M NRL to discuss the interview and she opened with this. 

"For some reason it still felt unresolved," Yvonne told Triple M NRL. 

It's a general consensus that many in rugby league land have felt since the interview occurred. 

There seems to be no clarity, no clearness, no closure that we ALL thought might occur as a result of the interview.

It even forced Broncos coach Wayne Bennett to plead with the rugby league community to move on from the issue. 

"Life is going on. On one hand you guys preach rehab and rehabilitation. This guy has rehabilitated himself. He has to get another opportunity in life," Bennett told reporters on Wednesday. 

"The game has given him that opportunity."

However, Perter Sterling has told Triple M NRL he will only be able to move on once the victims are able to move on from that horrific night.
