Mark Hunt has labelled UFC President Dana White's comments, that Brock Lesnar could return to the Octagon in 2018 as 'pathetic'.

Hunt, originally lost to Lesnar at UFC 200 in 2016, however, the result was overturned to a No Contest when Lesnar was pinged for steroids during a post-fight test.

Since, then Hunt has been on a witch hunt against fighters who 'aren't clean' in the sport and was furious with White's comments.

"He shouldn't be fighting, he's just a cheater," Hunt told Submission Radio in Perth.

"There should be a show for steroid users like him. He didn't deserve to be there because he took the shortcuts.

"It just goes to show the credibility when you've got a guy like Brock Lesnar coming back.

"At the end of the day, we are setting a bad example and the wrong example, for not only the kids coming through who want to be pro fighters but also martial artists.

"This is a sport about respect, honour, doing the right thing and not taking shortcuts to get to the top.

"It's pathetic, that's all I can say."

Lesnar's contract with his current employers WWE, expires in April and according to insiders the former UFC World Champion is once again seriously considering a switch back to MMA.

Meanwhile, Hunt is scheduled to fight American Curtis Blaydes this Sunday at UFC 221 in Perth.

Watch Hunt's full interview, where he talks fighting Francis Ngannou, helping young Aussies Tai Tuivasa and Tyson Pedro, plus the 'Mark Hunt Clause' for drug cheats in the UFC.
