It seems as though Conor McGregor will defend his UFC Lightweight title for the first time in his career after a calling out Tony Ferguson in an Instagram post.

Or did he?

Whilst the Grand Theft Auto style Cartoon is of typical McGregor fashion, the caption has left everyone wondering.

McGregor captioned the post 'Tony', leading many to believe he is calling out Tony Ferguson for his return to the Octagon but as many have pointed out it could be McGregor paying homage to Tony Montana of Scarface

Ferguson who won the interim UFC Lightweight title after a submission victory of Kevin Lee at UFC 216 in Las Vegas, said he would haunt McGregor until he gets his title shot to crown an Undisputed champion.

UFC President Dana White said McGregor v Ferguson is the only fight that 'makes sense', despite reports the Irishman wanted a trilogy fight against Nate Diaz.
