Australian golf legend Greg Norman has announced he’ll be making a one-time return to professional golf via the medium of a Rocky-esque training montage with his son.

The video opens with Norman’s son — Greg Jr, of course — suggesting to his dad that he should “probably start playing some golf again”.

The Great White Shark then shows off his acting chops with his reply — "That's not a bloody bad idea actually!" — before the video kicks into a full on training montage complete with a home brand version of Eye Of The Tiger.

Greg Senior and Junior are seen being put through their paces, including jogging, star jumping, juggling golf balls on their clubs, lifting weights while lying on gym balls, and memorably a two-handed high-five pulled off at the very top of a sit-up whilst facing each other.

The video ends with an awkward stride towards the camera, a clasped handshake, and a choreographed announcement that they’ll be at the PNC Father/Son Challenge at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando from December 13-17th.

It’s hard to believe, but the video is actually even better than it sounds.

That knock off Eye Of The Tiger will be stuck in your head all night.
