It seems as though Nick Kyrgios was more nervous to see his idol, Hollywood megastar Will Smith in the crowd during his third round tie against Jo-Wilfred Tsonga, than the actual match itself.

Following his four-set win over the World No. 15, Kyrgios spoke of his admiration of Smith.

"When I saw him out here I was so nervous, no joke" Kyrgios laughed.

"People think I'm cool but I just wanted him to think I was the coolest person ever."

That drew a thumbs up from Smith, however it didn't stop Kyrgios from throwing a cheeky dig, showing his appreciation for one of Smith's movies but not for the American's acting skills.

"I've got the tell him, I have Focus on my phone and I watch it every time I have a flight, best movie ever ... it’s because of Margot Robbie by the way," Kyrgios joked.
