Channel 9 sports editor Cameron Williams - and cousin of Australia's underdog champion Jeff Horn - has revealed the 'extraordinary' figure he could be looking at for a rematch.

Speaking to Mark Howard and Lawrence Mooney on The Winter Breakfast this morning, Williams was asked what sort of money Horn would be looking at.

"Boxing often comes down to paycheque,” Howard said.

"Rumour that Manny was gonna get $10m either way and Jeff would get $500k - maybe an extra 300 for a win."

"But the next fight is all important because that’s when your man can cash in."

Williams agreed; and named the amount of money Horn could expect should he don the gloves and take on Manny Pacquiao again.

"Well they got 200,000 pay-per-views in Australia this time around - don’t you reckon you and all your mates would want to load up and watch that again?" Williams asked.

"I think Jeff is guaranteed in the contract a base salary of $2m next time they go around."

"But he’ll be the one with the bargaining chip - he’ll be able to get all the bonuses that Manny got this time around."

"It’s an extraordinary payday coming for him if he can win a rematch."

"That’s if Manny’s got the appetite for it, though - he may not, you know."
