Kurt Angle has confirmed he's getting back in the ring in the WWE...in two days.

Angle has been named to replace Roman Reigns at Tables, Ladders and Chairs this Monday morning Australia time after Reigns pulled out with an illness.

He'll team up with the other members of The Shield, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, to take on The Miz, Braun Strowman, Kane, Sheamus and Cesaro in a three-on-five handicap match.

It marks the WWE Hall of Famer's first match for the company since 2006.

"Is it true??? Oh It's damn true!" he wrote on Instagram on Saturday.

"Your Olympic Hero will be wrestling along side of The Shield at #TLCĀ this Sunday. Be sure to watch."

The illness has hit the WWE hard, with AJ Styles named to take on Finn Balor, replacing Bray Wyatt.
