MMA fighter C.J. Hancock died and was the revived in the cage during a MMA promotion in Houston overnight.

Hancock seemingly collapsed and thanks to some quick thinking from the medical staff was brought back to life.

“Well I died tonight in the cage,” Hancock wrote in a Facebook post.

“I’m OK. Thanks everyone. I’ll reply when I can. My heart stopped, and I had kidney failure. They did CPR and hit me with the EKG twice and brought me back.”

Hancock said was "unsure why it happened" but explained he had a difficult time cutting weight in order to make the required weigh-in for the fight.
