Nick Kyrgios Booed Off Court On Tennis Return

A shoulder injury has prompted Nick Kyrgios to retire from his second-round Washington Open clash on Wednesday - and the fans to boo him off.

Kyrgios was down 6-3 3-0 to world number 106 Tennys Sandgren and in discomfort, battling a right shoulder injury.

He was troubled throughout the first set and received treatment after losing it, before eventually pulling the pin.

He was booed by members of the crowd as he made his way off the court.

It was his first tournament back after retiring from the first round of Wimbledon last month with a hip injury.

He has opted against surgery, as an operation would likely rule him out of the US Open starting later in August.
