On a day where Bernard Tomic retired from a match in Acapulco due to the “unbearable” 27-degree heat, Nick Kyrgios thought he would try and trump his fellow tennis bad boy.
While preparing to serve during his three-set first-round win over Israeli veteran Dudi Sela, Kyrgios lost patience with a chirpy fan and told him to “shut the f*ck up”.
It’s just the latest episode in a long line of instances of poor behavior from Kyrgios.
Who could forget when he seemed to give up during his second-round match in January’s Australian Open before losing to Italy’s Andreas Seppi?
And how about when he informed Stan Wawrinka that Thanasi Kokkinakis may have had an intimate relationship with the Swiss star’s girlfriend?
It seems as though Tomic and Kyrgios will never change!
Funnily enough, Kyrgios will face Donald Young – the guy who Tomic retired against – in the next round of the Mexican Open.
