WWE has confirmed Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will return at their next pay-per-view.

Michaels will team with Triple H to re-form DX and take on Kane and The Undertaker, The Brothers Of Destruction.

It marks Michaels' first match since retiring eight years ago at Wrestlemania, at the hands of The Undertaker, in a career versus streak match.

The seeds were planted when he was in Triple H's corner for his Super Show Down win over The Undertaker in Melbourne, where The Undertaker and Kane attacked the two of them after the match.

"Eight and a half long years that I have sat there and honoured my word out of respect, a respect that never existed at all!" Michaels said on Raw.

"Kane, Undertaker, Brothers of Destruction: I say this with absolutely no respect at all. If you're not down with that, we've got two words for ya..."
