The Old Mack Horton/Sun Yang Rivalry Has Fired Right Up Again

The feud between Mack Horton and Chinese swimmer Sun Yang has heated up again, with the Aussie champ taking another swing at his rival for being a drug cheat.

The two are set to compete against each other again in Budapest for the World Championships.

Horton was asked upon arrival if he was looking forward to renewing the rivalry between the two.

His response? Pretty blunt.

"I don’t know if it’s a rivalry," he said.

"I think it’s a rivalry between clean athletes and athletes who’ve tested positive."

Horton didn't back down from his previous comments on Sun, after their previous war of words caused heaps of abuse from Chinese fans online.

"I think I would do the same thing even if I knew the outcome," he said.

"I don't think that (reaction) changes anything."
