Forget everything you've seen so far this year; we reckon we've found the best sporting image of 2017.

Following the Wallabies 29-21 win over Wales on the weekend, Prince William was invited into the Aussie changerooms to speak to the players.

And that's when Wallabies fullback Kurtley Beale snapped up his chance, grabbing the Duke of Cambridge for an Instagram post.

That there, is Kurtley Beale with a beer in hand, wearing nothing but budgie smugglers, standing next to the man who is second-in-line for the throne.

The best thing about this image, is that every photo taken with Prince William had to be approved by The Royal Family before being posted.
