Wallabies star Karmichael Hunt has avoided conviction after charges of cocaine possession against were dropped.
Prosecutors had to drop the charges against Hunt due to a lack of evidence.
Police had alleged that Hunt was in possession of cocaine after being searched in a car park in Fortitude Valley on December 30.
Hunt was fined $600 after pleading guilty to possessing alprazolam — Xanax — and for contravening a direction or requirement from police.
Hunt failed to turn up to a police station when required.
