Former Socceroos goalkeeper Mark Bosnich joined the Triple M Grill Team this morning to discuss the drama surrounding Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou.

Bosnich believes if the reports are true, that Postecoglou will leave his post as Socceroos coach after the World Cup playoff against Honduras, it could explain his antics in recent months.

"If that story is true and it's a big IF, it does go a long way to explaining his behaviour over the last eight months because he's being going around like a bear with a sore head," Bosnich said.

"I would question Ange publicly, do you want to be here?

"If you go off the evidence of the last eight months - the change of the system, his demeanour, the way he's been - and after what we heard yesterday, if you want to put two-and-two together his mind hasn't exactly been on the job and we've seen that with the team as well."

Should Postecoglou step down, Bosnich would like to see Sydney FC coach Graham Arnold take over for his second crack at the gig.

"I think there's only one man ready for that job and that's Graham Arnold," Bosnich said.
