All-time leading Socceroos goalscorer Tim Cahill will make the long haul trip to Honduras ahead of the final World Cup Qualifier.
Cahill is battling an ankle injury suffered in Melbourne City's 1-0 loss to Sydney FC on Friday night.
Initial scans showed no structural damage, however it has been reported Cahill is suffering ligament damage.
The final call as to whether Cahill plays any part in the first leg will be decided in Honduras.
The first leg will take place at the Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano on Saturday November 11, with kick-off set for 8:30am AEDT.
