The new car, new paint trend continues after Erebus Motorsport gave us a peek at its Penrite Racing entry yesterday.

Today it's Mobil 1 Boost Racing unveiling the livery its cars will be wrapped in this season.

Unlike last year, the team will run Scott Pye and James Courtney's race cars in the same colours.

JC can't wait to get behind the wheel.

“The bright orange on the gloss black means that they will really stand out on track, you won’t miss us that’s for sure," he said.

“I’m really looking forward to getting behind the wheel now, it’s been a few months so buckling up again at SMP has been on my mind for a while; I’m itching to get back into it.”

There were big changes for the squad in the off-season with team owner Ryan Walkinshaw joined by American operations Andretti Autosports and United Autosport as co-owners.

Boost Mobile has (pun intended) boosted its involvement by joining Mobil 1 with major sponsorship of both the #2 and #25 entries.

Another Holden team have also revealed what they'll dress their new ZB Commodores in.

Garry Rogers Motorsport has ditched the blue and added more red and black for the #33 and #34 machines.

Team boss Garry Rogers concedes there's little time to sit down and admire what they've achieved.

“There have been parts dribbling through right until the death-knock, but we will have everything ready to go for the shakedowns," he said.

“The cars will then go straight from Winton to Sydney [for Friday’s pre-season test], where the drivers will get a proper feel for them.”

Garth Tander and James Golding will shake the cars down at Winton on Wednesday.
