Here's a car bound to catch some attention at this weekend's Australian Grand Prix.

Nick Percat's #8 Holden Commodore has been painted in rainbow colours for this weekend's Coates Hire Supercar challenge at Albert Park.

Holden says the special one-off livery is about support equality of everyone, no matter their race, gender or sexual preference.

Team boss Brad Jones says the Grand Prix is the perfect event at which to run the campaign.

"The Grand Prix attracts a huge fan base from across the globe," he said.

"It’s an opportunity for BJR and Holden to celebrate motorsport and show that anyone can get involved and enjoy the sport.”

The livery will be seen on track for the first time in tomorrow's opening practice session at 12.50 pm (local time).
